Fifth-term senator Chris Dodd (D-Conn.) considers himself a dark horse candidate in the crowded field of contenders for the Democratic presidential nomination. Despite his consistently liberal record in the Senate, Dodd remains an underdog, and no one can seem to figure out what he brings to the table that Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama or John Edwards don't already offer. Dodd actually won a straw poll of York County, S.C., residents, but he likely won't enjoy much more success - unless Democratic voters decide to base their judgement on which candidate looks most like noted actor Peter Gallagher.
