On February 26, Senator Obama stood up for the Little Guy by joining 97 of his Senate colleagues in voting in favor S. 306, "A bill to prohibit discrimination on the basis of genetic information with respect to health insurance and employment." Sen. Obama, along with fellow Illinois senator Dick Durbin, will meet constituents over coffee and donuts in the Dirksen Senate Building in Washington D.C. at 8:30 AM on March 3. In a display characteristic of his magnanimity, Obama has offered the donuts and coffee gratis. Obama fans from all over the country are expected to begin queuing up a day early in order to beat the crowd, which is expected to number in the tens of thousands.
