To the astonishment of many, Republican Party presidential nominee John McCain announced Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin as his running mate on Aug. 29. Clinton said that her support went to Obama, but the only way to prove it was for her to be Obama's running mate so the 18 million Clinton votes would go with her. There is a saying that the only bad news is no news. So it is no longer a bid deal with Bristol being pregnant. But because of that news, we now know the name and age of one of Palin's daughters. People thought that McCain was too old to think outside of the box.
Also the experts thought that they were so smart that even though McCain had not yet announced his running mate, they could predict who it was. That would have shown that McCain is old and boring and has no surprises in him. Running a city and a state is executive experinece unlike being a senator. Obama ruined the chance of a woman getting to be president or VP but McCain has revived the chance.
Does anyone disagree that Obama picking Clinton as running mate would have given him the best chance to win? She got just as many votes as Obama. Also why did Obama pick Biden. He did not pick his name, but Obama knew that people were saying change the 'b' to an 's' and you get Osama. Also his middle name is Hussein (Saddam Husein). But then he picks a running mate where if you add 'nla' to Biden, you get bi[n La]den.
